Carlee grew up in the small town of Bloomingdale, graduated from Butler High School in 2018, and she attended cosmetology school right after. Upon Graduating hair school, she went on to work in a salon for 5 years where she only did Women’s hair, but didn’t exactly love it. One day her younger brother got a horrible haircut from his barber and refused to go back, so he asked her to cut his hair. Even though she hadn’t had much experience in Men’s hair before, he ending up loving his cut and all of his friends asked where he went, so She started cutting all of them regularly when she had free time. She realized she started to like cutting men’s hair much more, so on a random Friday she called Art of the Gentleman. Not even sure she even wanted to fully make the switch, Louie told her to come in and do a haircut. After seeing her skill and desire to learn, he told her to start the following week, and after an intense couple months of training, she has been killing it ever since!
